Nolan North - Acting in every game since 2007?

I say 2007 because that was when Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was released and when Nolan North shot to fame as a voice actor and in some cases a mo-cap actor.

Nobody can blame him though - he is bloody brilliant at it!
I remember somebody saying that he isn't that great because he only needs to talk into a microphone without using any voice acting ability whatsoever but he was later proved wrong as not only is Nolan North voicing Nathan Drake but he also voices The Penguin (Batman: Arkham City), Desmond (Assassin's Creed), Dr Richtofen (Call of Duty Zombies), Deadpool (Various Marvel games and shows), etc, which easily show off his ability to use variation within his work.

I hope Nolan North and others in the Uncharted cast are included within the upcoming film as it's them that make Uncharted as great as it is.
After all it is their ad-libbing, improvisation and mo-capping that makes the characters who they are, the things that make them stand out and seem more realistic and likable.
Let's hope the director thinks about this before filming as the previous director was goign to make it a complete pile of rubbish by completely ignoring the source material.

More voice actors should ad-lib if it allows them to make their characters their own and to project a better performance and create a better character.
I think games would benefit from ad-libbing as long as it doesn't take away from the atmosphere or tone of the game and so I encourage voice actors and actresses to do it more often.

I look forward to Uncharted 3 and more Nolan North in the future and if I ever become a voice actor then it will be him who I look up to.
